Jesús Castillo had a great week in the Major League Baseball. The pitcher from Líderes de Miranda was chosen this Monday as the Most Valuable Player of the seventh week of the LMBP.
The right-hander closed the week with a masterful performance against Marineros de Carabobo, pitching six complete innings without allowing runs, striking out three and allowing just one hit.
This week he recorded one win in 11 innings in two starts, allowing only eight hits.
Castillo currently has a 2-2 record with a 3.38 ERA in eight starts with the Mirandino team.

Castillo has been one of the pillars of the Mirandina rotation, as the team is first in the table with a record of 22-15.
