Kai Jones Signs ‘Non-Guaranteed’ Deal with Los Angeles Clippers in Bid for Roster Spot

Unrestricted free agent and 19th overall pick in the 2021 Draft, Kai Jones, has signed a ‘non-guaranteed’ deal with the Los Angeles Clippers in an attempt to earn a spot on their final roster, outlet journalist Shams Charania reported. The Athletic.

Jones was already with the Clippers last year, although he didn’t even make his debut with them after passing through the Development League.

It should be remembered that the Hornets agreed to his dismissal last October 2023 after he requested his transfer via social networks, and in addition to starring in several disagreements with the franchise North Carolina.

In two NBA campaigns he has played 67 official games with averages of 2.7 points and 2 rebounds in 9.1 minutes of play.
