Kharkiv International Women’s Badminton Tournament: A Look at the Format, Prizes, and History

**Kharkiv Int. Women Qual** is a women’s badminton tournament held in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The tournament is part of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) International Challenge series and is classified as a BWF International Challenge tournament.

**Tournament format:**

The tournament is run as a single elimination tournament with 32 players. Players are seeded based on their world ranking.

**Prices:**

The winner of the tournament will receive an amount of $2,500, while the runner-up will receive $1,250. The semi-finalists will receive $625 each and the quarter-finalists will receive $312 each.

Kharkiv Int. Women Qual has been held since 2017. The first edition of the tournament was won by Ukrainian Mariya Ulitina.

**Danish participants:**

No Danish participants are expected in the tournament in 2023.
