Kingsley Coman has now left the French national football team because of the impending birth of his fourth child.
A spokesman for the association announced this on Monday evening. The winger travelled to Sweden to be with his partner after France’s European Championship round of 16 victory against Belgium (1-0).
In recent days, there have been conflicting reports about whether Coman is still with the French team or not.
Coman has only been used a little at the finals in Germany, and has not been in the starting line-up once. The Bayern Munich professional did not play against Belgium. The 28-year-old was only allowed to play for 15 minutes in the second group match against the Netherlands.
