Klara Bühl: “Men are very provocative and insinuate”

At best, with humor. At the last European Championships, I shot wide of the empty goal. Alexandra Popp had passed to me perfectly and I was completely free. I have no idea how that could have happened. I was substituted straight after. That had been the plan beforehand, but it seemed particularly dramatic because of the missed shot. The cameras were on me the whole time. When I was sitting on the bench, I just had to laugh. My teammates laughed too. But that was only possible because we were 1-0 up – and then won 2-0.
