La Bañeza City Council Unveils Exciting Summer Programme for 2024

The La Bañeza City Council has presented the new ‘Bañejoven’ programme together with the rest of the activities planned for the summer of 2024, at an event held in the Plenary Hall. The presentation was attended by the Mayor of La Bañeza, Javier Carrera, the Councillor for Youth, Carmen Macho, and the Councillor for Sports, José Carlos Prieto.

The programme of activities is varied and attractive, offering options for all ages and tastes. Highlights include sunset yoga at 8pm in July and August, movie nights every Wednesday in July at 10pm. On Thursdays in July, the little ones can enjoy games in the Francisco Quevedo square at 10pm.

On July 25th you will have a great excursion to the Warner Park in Madrid for only 30 euros.

The English course for obtaining the B2 level has also been launched, from July 1 to August 30; in addition, an urban camp will be held from June 25 to August 2.

In addition, various sports tournaments have been organised, including disciplines such as football, badminton, pole vault, canoeing, basketball, handball and Parcheesi. There will also be a cycle ride to Sanabria Lake, the 1st Castilla y León Cycling Tour for the elite and under 23 categories, the 7th Vespinos Concentration and the 6th Night Route. In addition, the festivities of the different neighbourhoods and districts will be celebrated; and the concerts of Juan Rubio and Efecto 2000 will take place on 26 July at 11:00 p.m. in the main square of La Bañeza.
