LeBron James Signs Two-Year, $104 Million Contract with Los Angeles Lakers

Star player LeBron James has agreed to a two-year, $104 million contract to return to the Los Angeles Lakers.

This was reported by journalist Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.

James, 39, is winding down his career.

But he has always expressed a desire to play in the NBA with his son, Bronny, who was recently drafted by the Lakers; it would be the first father-son duo in NBA history.

Furthermore, a good friend of James, JJ Redick, was named head coach of the Californian team, another incentive for a return to Los Angeles.

“King James” averaged 25.7 points, 8.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds, but his Lakers were stopped in the first round of the playoffs by the Denver Nuggets, in five short games.

Age, however, is not slowing down the man some consider the greatest player in history – there is a debate between him and Michael Jordan – as James posted his best efficiency rate from downtown, at 41%.
