Leicester are in deep trouble. The Premier League is about to sanction the Foxes club.

The return to the top flight of English football promises to be eventful for Leicester. Not only are the Foxes expected from a sporting perspective, but above all because they are in the sights of the Premier League.

It will be recalled that last March, Leicester City had initiated “urgent legal proceedings” against the Premier League and the English Football League on March 22 after being referred to an independent commission following accusations by the governing body.

The club, then in the second division, had reacted in response to the indictment on Thursday 21 March by the Premier League for an alleged breach of the top-level Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). The attempt had failed and the Premier League is not one to joke around with the rules.

According to information from The Sun, The Foxes could be deducted 10 points or more.
