From the Scattisparsi bookshop to the “Tre pizzichi di Sale” estate, up to the collaboration with the Ravenna baseball team

Filming continues at a rapid pace on “The Legend of the Sandal”: a seven-episode TV series set in the heart of Ravenna that tells the story of a strange “time journey” by four teenagers to the time of Galla Placidia.
After the initial days, filmed mainly inside the center, in the last few days the shooting moved in the city and outside, thanks to the collaboration with various organizations that hosted the crew.
Among the locations involved, the suggestive Scattisparsi bookshop in Ravenna and the Franciscan Cloisters, the Vanity bar in Punta Marina, and the “Tre pizzichi di sale” estate. Up to Ravenna Baseball, which enthusiastically accepted to host the filming of one of the episodes, originally written with a soccer match in mind, then transformed into a baseball match thanks to the availability of the Ravenna-based company. The episode featured two very young actors from the series, Andrea Butera from Ravenna (already among the protagonists of two seasons of “Summertime”), and Luigi Tricarico, as well as the expert Gianfranco Boattini from Forlì
Filming will wrap in August and the television release is scheduled for fall.
