Magic Re-Sign Gary Harris to Two-Year Deal After Acquiring Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Having achieved their goal of acquiring Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, the Magic have now set to work to close the desired renewals. Thus, and after finalizing the return of Goga Bitadze, they have done the same with Gary Harris, who signs a new contract for two years and 14 million dollars; reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Although not one of the brightest pieces, Harris has become a key element in Jamahl Mosley’s rotation, either coming off the bench or occasionally taking on the starting role. With three years on the team, he is also one of the important voices in the locker room.

In terms of performance, he played 54 games (27 as a starter) in the 2023-24 season, averaging 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24 minutes per night. In addition, he has shot 40 percent from three-point range in the last three seasons.
