Magic Secure Goga Bitadze with Three-Year, $25 Million Contract: What’s Next for Orlando’s Rotation?

With the big signing of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope confirmed, the Magic are now taking steps to complete their rotation with other pieces such as Goga Bitadze, a center they have already counted on for the last season and a half and who they are now renewing with a three-year, $25 million contract; reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Without being a player by any means hightlightsBitadze has defined himself as a piece that always adds to the score on the court. Thus, in the 2023-24 NBA campaign he played up to 62 games (33 as a starter) to help Orlando finish with a record of 47-35 in fifth place in the Eastern Conference – in playoff spots – with an average of 5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 blocks.

Looking ahead to the upcoming campaign, the Florida team wants to continue making strides forward by making adjustments to a roster that is already working under the direction of Jamahl Mosley and counting on Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner as leaders on the court.
