Some Juventus fansof the section “Drugs”, they attacked hard Claudio Marchisiothe former Juventus midfielder, guilty of having released thoughts on the fans that evidently triggered the reaction. Excessive and insulting, resulting in a banner that appeared near one of the former footballer’s activities and with very thoughtful tones including an evident “man of sh…”. Fans to whom Marchisio himself wanted to respond directly via social media: “Everything is allowed without ever a boundary, limits are exceeded.”
What Marchisio had said about Juventus fans
It all started from a series of reflections made by Claudio Marchisio during a podcast in which he was a guest a few days ago. The former Juventus midfielder had commented on some statistics on the fan bases scattered throughout Italy, with evident differences. Thoughts that evidently offended some ultras in passages that were interpreted almost as if it were a ‘betrayal’: “We have a big heart but not as warm as Rome’s” one of the phrases expressed by Marchisio who then also dwelt on the Turin derby, noting the different “warmth” between the Granata fans and the Juventus fans: “The derby is heated above all thanks to the Torino fans because they are the soul of the challengewhile Juventus fans are scattered everywhere”.
The Drughi’s reaction and the harsh banner of insults
Words that were not digested by the Juventus fans with a banner signed “Black and White Drughi” who directly attacked Claudio Marchisio: “As a lackey player of the company, as an unemployed person you are a renegade! And in life Marchisio a man of s…”. A reaction that was not appreciated by the former midfielder who wanted to reiterate his thoughts via social media by denouncing the incident and reiterating his point of view.

Marchisio’s response to the Juventus fans’ banner

It is clear that everyone is free to have their own thoughts and that, within the limits of decency, they have the right to share them. What I really can’t stand, however, is that certain people think that being “fans” gives them the right to do things that go beyond the limits. Why do you think you have the right to hang that banner outside a restaurant of which, by the way, I am not the only member? Why do you think that the guys who work at the restaurant should waste their precious time removing it? Why do you think that the nearby businesses should be upset by this gesture, as well as their customers? Why is everything allowed in football? Why is there never a boundary?
And I repeat, it’s not even the content of the banner that bothers me, but the gesture of having it hung outside the restaurant.
The post then continues with a reflection directed at the authors of the gesture, relegated to a “The four of you“. For Marchisio it is the opportunity to reaffirm his Juventus identity, never hidden and always carried forward with pride and dignity: “You know nothing. You have no idea of the sacrifices I and my family have made.of the kilometers traveled to train as a child and as a boy in the most remote fields of the province. Of the adolescence never lived, of the friendships lost because I was never there. You have no idea how much time I have taken away from my wife and children, and how much I will never get back. You have no idea of the suffering for the injuries I had for never having spared myself a single day. Of the courage to step aside when it was time to put the team before my personal interests. But you have no idea how beautiful it was to live this life together with the many fans who colored my life. Fans, yes, you!
Quoting a much more romantic banner than this one: “They’re all Juventus fans but Marchisio is a little more so”.
