Marcus Morris looks set to stay in the NBA for another year. The veteran power forward is currently a free agent, but according to reports from Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirerthere are many teams that are interested in acquiring his services for the 2024-25 season.
After passing through as many as three franchises in the 2023-24 campaign, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers, now there are again two of those already mentioned -Sixers and Cavs-, as well as Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves, who complete the list of seven teams that have Marcus Morris’ name on their radar in order to reinforce themselves this summer.
Although the forward’s performance has dropped noticeably last season, averaging 6.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 16.5 minutes per night, his veteran status and qualities on the court remain attractive in the League, especially considering that his signing is expected to be for the minimum wage.
