This Saturday, June 29, 2024, Master Pablo Saúl Cosentino (7th dan) held a Judo, Kurash and Kendo exhibition at the Irmaos Club in the city of Villa Rada Tilly. Starting this month, he will be teaching these three martial arts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:30 p.m. at location #7 of Plaza Domus, located on the corner of Juan Guteff and Gustavo Binder streets.

Cosentino teaches judo in two academies in Comodoro Rivadavia (Unión Argentina de Artes Marciales and Constructores Club) and has been carrying out pioneering work in the dissemination of this Olympic discipline – of Japanese origin – since, since April 2024, it introduced it for the first time in history in the city of Sarmiento, organizing the Municipal Judo School and now taking a new step in Villa Rada Tilly.

Master Pablo Cosentino began practicing judo a little over fifty years ago with sensei Victor L’Abbate (7th dan, disciple of Master T. Kumazawa, who in turn was a direct student of the founder of this martial art, Dr. Jigoro Kano) and has been an instructor for 38 years, introducing judo in the town of Junín de Los Andes, also working with Mapuche communities, also in San Martín de Los Andes with sensei Mario Vegazzi, among other cities, and creating new schools in Comodoro Rivadavia.

Cosentino is also a primary school teacher, judo coach, and national instructor of Kurash, kendo, yoga, Olympic and Greco-Roman wrestling.
