With three wins and one loss, Max Heyder from the Judo Club Naisa won the silver medal in the weight class up to 60 kg at the European Police Championships in Sofia/Bulgaria, which only take place every four years. In the first encounter, he defeated his opponent from Great Britain with a medium score (Waza-ari) for a lifting technique after just under two minutes, which was immediately followed by the Briton’s surrender.
