Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone has improved her own world record in the 400 m hurdles. In qualifying for the Olympic Games in Paris, the 24-year-old American crossed the finish line in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday evening (local time) after 50.65 seconds.
The previous record was 50.68 seconds, set two years ago when she won the World Championships in the same stadium. McLaughlin-Levrone has already beaten the world record five times.
