Carlos Javier Rojas López, born on January 14, 2004 in Querétaro, has secured his participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after an outstanding performance in the qualifying tournament in Antalya, Turkey.
The Mexican recurve archery team, made up of Rojas, Bruno Martínez and Matías Grande, finished eighth in the qualifying phase with 1,974 points, finally achieving the long-awaited Olympic ticket.
In the round of 16, the team defeated Spain by a score of 6-2. In the quarter-finals, they beat the number one ranked team India by a score of 6-2.
