Minnesota Timberwolves Add Joe Ingles and P.J. Dozier in Free Agency

Minnesota Timberwolves add in free agency Joe Ingles already P.J. Dozierboth with one-season contracts. The first will reunite with old teammates in Jazz as Mike Conley y Rudy Gobert; the second returns to the NBA from Europe.

Ingles has reached an agreement for the veteran’s minimum salary: $3.3 million for one season.

The former Spanish league player already has a long and solid career in the NBA after spending 10 seasons there, during which he played for the Utah Jazz (8 years), Milwaukee Bucks (1) and Orlando Magic (1).

Last season, he averaged 4.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3 assists in 17.2 minutes with Orlando after playing 68 games and shooting a great 43.5% from three-point range.

He will bring experience and a 3-point shot – he has a 41% success rate in the 704 games he has played in the regular season. He is 36 years old.

His arrival comes shortly after Minnesota learned it was going to lose Kyle Anderson in free agency.

PJ Dozier, 27, suffered a serious knee injury in 2021 and last season he emigrated to Europe with Partizan Belgrade. Now this contract allows him to return to the United States.
