NBA: Nicolas Batum returns to the Clippers

Batman is back. Nicolas Batum, a free agent since leaving the Philadelphia Sixers, will return to his former franchise, the Los Angeles Clippers.

The versatile winger of the French team has signed in the City of Angels for two years and $9.6 million, according to information from ESPN. An announcement confirmed by the wife of the main interested party on X (ex-Twitter). “He’s back,” wrote his partner Lily E. Batum.

A season at “Phili” and then he’s gone

He had already worn the Clippers jersey between 2020 and 2023, which he left for Philadelphia as part of a trade with James Harden. “Batman” only stayed one season with the Sixers, with an honorable record of 60 games for an average of 5.3 points and 2.1 assists.
