The player Nolan Jonesof the Colorado Rockiesmade an incredible throw from left field during Monday night’s game to throw out the Milwaukee Brewers’ Eric Hasse in an attempt to take an extra base and reach second base.
Through the top of the third inning with no runners on board and two outs, Eric Hasse hit a hard shot that third baseman Ryan Mcchohan couldn’t stop, so he left everything in the hands of Nolan Jones who waited for the ball in left field.
However, Jones never let his guard down and when he saw Eric Hasse try to get to second base, he made him pay by executing a 101.6 mph throw into the hands of shortstop Ezequiel Tovar, who completed the play by throwing Hasse out. It is worth noting that this 101 mph throw is the fastest assist so far this Major League season.

Nolan Jones The 26-year-old is still looking to consolidate his position in the Major Leagues. Last year he managed to record exceptional numbers with an offensive line of .297/.389/.542 with 60 runs scored, 109 hits, 20 home runs and 62 RBIs in just 106 games.
However, after his second season where he left high expectations with the Colorado Rockies in 2022 after they acquired him via trade from the Cleveland Guardians, Jones has declined with the bat, registering a poor OPS of .618 with 3 homers and 13 RBIs in 41 games this 2024.
