Athletes from the neighbouring town of Berisso were invited to register to be part of the lists for the “Olmi Filgueira 2023” awards, an invitation that was also extended to clubs, sports institutions and athletes. These awards recognise the best amateur athletes in the city.
It is worth clarifying that, in the case of athletes, they must be born or residents of Berisso and must register through a web form, and then send it to the email address [email protected]until Thursday, July 4 as the deadline.
The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 6 p.m., at Secondary School No. 1, located at the intersection of 10th and 169th.
As for the sports chosen, they are: chess, athletics, basketball, bowls, boxing, street running, adapted sports, 11-a-side football, futsal, artistic gymnastics, handball, jiu jutsu, judo, swimming, paddle tennis, skating, sport fishing, rowing, rugby, skateboarding, tennis, taekwondo, shooting, triathlon and volleyball.
For the awards ceremony, shortlists will be made up of athletes from the same discipline and the Golden Athlete of Berisso will be chosen from among the winners.
