The transfer market of the Liga 1 champion, Persib Bandung, is still active. The club nicknamed Maung Bandung is changing players.
Like tonight, Persib confirmed the rumor of Dimas Drajad’s presence to fill Persib’s front line. Through Instagram and X accounts, Persib officially announced bringing in the striker from Persikabo 1973.
“Wilujeng Sumping Dimas Drajad. Brought in to add strength to the attack line, Dimas Drajad has officially become part of #PERSIB. Let’s fight together! #WeArePERSIB,” wrote Persib on its account, Sunday (14/7/2024).

Muhammad Dimas Drajad, last season wore the Persikabo 1973 jersey. In the 2024/2025 League 1 season, Dimas officially joined Beckham Putra et al.
Persib and Dimas officially signed a contract agreement for the next three years. “Wilujeng sumping, Dimas Drajad. Congratulations on joining PERSIB,” said Adhitia Hermawan, Interim Sporting Director of PT PERSIB Bandung Bermartabat.
Adhit said, the recruitment of the player born on March 30, 1997 was based on the recommendation of coach Bojan Hodak to strengthen Persib’s attack line next season. Dimas’ performance with Persikabo 1973 last season, in fact, was able to impress Persib.
Throughout the season, the 27-year-old player appeared in 25 matches with a contribution of 6 goals and 4 assists. Overall, since joining Persikabo 1973 in 2018, Dimas has appeared in 101 matches with 28 goals.
The name Dimas Drajad, had previously surfaced before the 2023/2024 League 1 ended. The rumors grew stronger because last week, Dimas Drajad was reported to be in Bandung.
Dimas is indeed known as one of the best local strikers today. He is still able to compete among foreign strikers. He has also been a mainstay of the Indonesian National Team coach Shin Tae-yong several times.
