Slalom canoeist Elena Lilik wins the silver medal in the single canoe! The 25-year-old from Augsburg completed a flawless final run at the Stade Nautique de Vaires-sur-Marne. The 2021 Canadian World Champion completed the whitewater course with 23 gates in 103.54 seconds. As in the kayak, Australian Jessica Fox took the Olympic victory in 101.06 seconds.
Already in the semifinals, Olympic debutante Lilik had cheered at the finish about her first participation in the final at the Summer Games.
