Following the formalization of Roberto De Zerbi on the Marseille bench for next season, the managers are working to recruit players who will match the new coach’s style of play.

The Marseille leaders want to strengthen themselves on all fronts and they are already ready for their first recruits. OM notably found an agreement in principle with Watford for the arrival of midfielder Ismael Koné for €12 million. If the medical examination goes well, it could be made official in the coming days. Although OM has not communicated on the subject,The club is reportedly close to signing Brest defender Lilian Brassier for five seasons for a cheque of €8 million. Marseille are reportedly still waiting for eight arrivals during the summer transfer window and are trying to sign Manuel Locatelli.

Having started 38 times this season, Manuel Locatelli is an indisputable starter at the Juventus. Despite this, the midfielder was not called up to participate in the Euro with Italy, which gave him desires to leave. He wants to be the leader of a new project. Although there is nothing concrete at the moment, the arrival of Manuel Locatelli at OM could be one of the big moves of this transfer window. The player is considered by De Zerbi as the central core of his gaming system.
