Orlando Magic Secures Future with Mo Wagner and Jonathan Isaac Deal Extensions

Orlando Magic bets on the continuity of Mo Wagnerwho was a free agent, and Jonathan Isaacin which case his contract has been renegotiated and extended, according to ESPN journalist Adrian Wojnarowski.

Orlando had declined the $8 million team option it had on the final year of the elder Wagner’s contract, leaving him an unrestricted free agent in the summer market, and from there built a new contract with the player.

Mo Wagner’s new contract is worth $22 million for 2 seasons.

Mo Wagner will continue to share a team with his brother Franz Wagner, and will be able to continue to play as an important support for his team from the second unit after averaging 10.9 points and 4.3 rebounds last season with 60.1% shooting from the field.

As for Jonathan Isaac, a key defensive player who is also part of the Orlando Magic’s bench, he has renegotiated the contract he had for the 2024-2025 season and has extended his stay with the team for 4 more years.

After renegotiating and extending, Isaac will receive $84 million over 5 seasons.

The center averaged 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks last season.
