An outsider doubles team cannot be defeated at Wimbledon. Harri Heliövaara and Henry Patten prevail against Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson. The tiebreak decides in all three sets.

The unseeded Finnish-British doubles team of Harri Heliövaara and Henry Patten have surprisingly won at Wimbledon. The duo beat the Australian tennis duo Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson in London by a very narrow margin of 6:7 (7:9), 7:6 (10:8), 7:6 (11:9). Their second Grand Slam appearance together thus ended with the title. It is the first Wimbledon title for both of them. Heliövaara became the first Finnish winner in the men’s doubles at the grass court classic.
