Penalized, Marc Marquez falls to tenth place in the Dutch GP

It was a bad Sunday for Marc Marquez. Unable to keep up with the pace of Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, or even to get on the podium at the Dutch Grand Prix, the Spaniard crossed the line in fourth place, which was already not doing his part in the Championship.

His situation worsened after the race as the Ducati Gresini rider was penalised 16 seconds for incorrect tyre pressure. He therefore drops to tenth place in the final standings and is now 58 points behind Jorge Martin, the Championship leader with a ten-point lead over Bagnaia.
