We are proud to announce that Peter Vestergaard has just received the prestigious Ove Møller Cup! This trophy is given to a person who, throughout the season, has made an extraordinary voluntary effort without being a formal leader in the club.
Peter is the father of Mads and Mike Vestergaard, both of whom have played at the club for many years.
Mads plays on the club’s league team and trains daily at the elite center in Brøndby, while Mike played on the club’s 1st division team last season. In the coming season, Mike will move to Zealand, where he will play in Værløse.
Despite both of Peter’s boys having moved to Zealand, Peter has no plans to stop volunteering in Højbjerg, which pleases many in the club.
Throughout his time at the club, Peter has made a fantastic effort and has been an invaluable resource. His commitment and dedication have had a great positive influence, together with all the other volunteers, on the club’s development.
Big congratulations to Peter Vestergaard on the well-deserved Ove Møller Cup, and thank you for everything you do for Højbjerg!
