In a cap-space situation like the Phoenix Suns’, any player who can fill the rotation is welcome. Damion Lee, who missed last season after undergoing surgery on his right meniscus, has signed a one-year deal with the Phoenix Suns after declining his $2.8 million player option.
Lee has taken advantage of the aforementioned need of the Suns to inflate his payroll a bit. Or at least that’s what we can hope for, since his salary has not yet been revealed. In 22-23, Lee had the third best percentage in the league in three-pointers with 44.5% from the outside line. This season, the Suns have had Grayson Allen as the leader in that statistic thanks to his 46.1%. There are never too many shooters around Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
