The Hérault club records the signings of three players, including that of the right pillar from Castres.

Montpellier rugby club announced in a press release on Tuesday the signing of three recruits, including right pillar Wilfrid Hounkpatin, from Castres.

Hounkpatin, who is 32 and has one cap for the French national team, arrived in Castres in 2018. He was suspended and removed from the team during the second half of the season after domestic violence. In April, he was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended, for assaulting his partner.

He signed a three-year contract with MHR, a club where he already played between 2011 and 2013.

The Hérault club also announced the signings of Argentinian fly-half Domingo Miotti, who arrives from Oyonnax, and Congolese winger Madosh Tambwe, who has just spent two seasons at Bègles-Bordeaux.
