PJ Dozier Signs One-Year Contract with Minnesota Timberwolves

Player PJ Dozier has agreed to a one-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to the journalist of ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski. The shooting guard returns to the NBA after playing in Europe last season with KK Partizan.

After going undrafted in 2017, Dozier had to earn his place in the NBA while interspersing experiences in the Summer Leagues and the G-League. After very few opportunities in Oklahoma City and Boston, the player enjoyed a certain consistency during his three seasons in Denver. However, a serious knee injury suffered in November 2021 cut short his progress.

He would later join the Timberwolves, although he never played an official NBA game. He would complete the 2022-23 season in Sacramento under a standard agreement after fulfilling several ten-day contracts.

The Timberwolves thus completed their second move of the day after signing veteran Joe Ingles on a one-year, minimum-salary deal.
