Kuzma’s 2024-25 salary is identical to Brown’s, 23 million of dollars. Kuz is however under contract with the Wizards for two more seasons beyond next until 2027with a contract moreover descending and which makes it particularly suitable for a trade.
Trade that would make sense for the Lakers who would add a good playerand long to look at the post LeBron James. Here too, LA could propose to the Wizards D’Angelo Russell and the Wizards relaunch with Austin Reaves (plus Gabe Vincent or Jarred Vanderbilt) and a future first-round pick. And at that point the deal would tank.
Jerami Grant (o Anfernee Simons)
Grant is under contract until 2028 (player option) and will earn $29 million for 2024-25. To get him, the Lakers will have to offer the Portland Trail Blazers his expiring contract D’Angelo Russell, Gabe Vincent and at least two future first round picks in the draft. Portland would like it more Austin Reaves e Jarred Vanderbilt and for Jerami Grant the Lakers might be willing to negotiate to the bitter end.
The former Pistons and Nuggets veteran would be a great fit to play alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who has played in Portland for the past two seasons Traveled with 40% from three points and it’s a still productive defender e versatile.
A Plan B? The Blazers need to free up minutes and space for Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe, so Anfernee Simons could leave for the right offer. Ant would bring the same strengths and weaknesses as D’Angelo Russell to the Lakers but is younger (25 years old).
