Tabitha Chawinga is a player for Olympique Lyonnais. As revealed in our columns on June 18, the Malawian striker has chosen to leave the women’s PSG after only one season and join the Rhône until June 2027, or three seasons. The club chaired by Michele Kang made this arrival official this Tuesday afternoon.
Best player of the 2023-2024 season in France, with 28 goals in all competitions scored for PSG, the 28-year-old had made her contract extension in Paris conditional on that of coach Jocelyn Prêcheur, who ultimately left for the London City Lionesses in the English D2. With Paris, she won a Coupe de France and reached the championship final and the semi-finals of the Champions League.
