PSS Sleman Gears Up for Liga 1 2024 with New Players and Brazilian Influence

TRIBUNWOW.COM – PSS Sleman has now started actively bringing in new players to compete in Liga 1 2024, where the Brazilian train has the chance to follow these two former Indonesian National Team players.

It is known that PSS Sleman itself will face major changes after almost being relegated to League 2 last season.

Now, PSS Sleman has started its overhaul by bringing in a new coach from Brazil, namely Wagner Lopes to replace Risto Vidakovic.

After inaugurating Wagner Lopes, PSS Sleman was seen immediately introducing its new recruits in Liga 1 2024.

Interestingly, both of PSS Sleman’s new recruits are former Indonesian National Team players from across generations.

The two new recruits for PSS Sleman are Paulo Sitanggang and Fachruddin Aryanto.

Paulo Sitanggang, who is an alumnus of the Indonesian U-19 National Team, was recruited by PSS Sleman after playing the 2023/2024 season with RANS Nusantara FC.

Meanwhile, Fachruddin Aryanto is a former PSS Sleman player who had played for several League 1 clubs and was the captain of the Indonesian National Team before returning to defend Super Elja.

Fachruddin Aryanto was recruited by PSS Sleman after wearing the Madura United uniform for quite a long time in the Indonesian League 1.

Interestingly, after bringing in several recruits with the Indonesian National Team label, PSS Sleman also officially launched a new young right-back.

The new right back from PSS Sleman is former Deltras FC player, Gilang Oktavana, who is only 21 years old.

On the other hand, PSS Sleman also has the potential to welcome players from Brazil to compete in Liga 1 2024.
