Roman Yaremchuk’s Future After Euro Goal: French and Italian Interest Surfaces

Roman Yaremchuk managed to surprise friend and foe with a beautiful and important goal for Ukraine at the European Championship in Germany against Slovakia. In the meantime, his country has been eliminated and so he can start looking to the future.

For Club Brugge, his goal against Slovakia was grist to the mill, because they can once again hope that Yaremchuk’s market value will skyrocket – useful if they want to sell him for good this summer after his loan to Valencia.

“He is back in Bruges after his loan, that’s true,” Vincent Mannaert said earlier at Sporza during the England v Slovenia support. “I really liked to see him score that goal against Slovakia and I’m happy for him.”

An agreement with Trabzonspor seemed to be in the making and the clubs had also reached an agreement, but Turkish sources now indicate that Yaremchuk and Trabzonspor would not have reached an agreement. And so the attacker will not go to Turkey.

French and Italian interest

However, there are other options for the man from Ukraine. Other sources have revealed that several teams would like to have the attacker. Stade Brest from France and Bologna from Italy are being considered.

Club Brugge wants to cooperate on a transfer anyway and that seems to be a bonus for the French and Italian interested parties. However, the (salary) demands of Yaremchuk himself will not be easy.
