Rosières. Emblavez Badminton Club: 84 members, a record! The Emblavez 43 Badminton Club (BCE) held its general meeting in the multipurpose hall on the day of the Fête de la Musique.
Very positive results
The co-presidents, Aurélie Liogier and Stéphane Souton, first took stock of the past year by listing the various events organized by the club: youth meetings, 10th edition of the eco-feather tournament, eco-kids tournament, interclubs, theme evenings.
With 84 members for the 2023-2024 season, the BCE is recording a record never before achieved.
Furthermore, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes League rewarded the BCE, which is the club with the highest percentage of female licensees among the 200 sports associations in the region.
On the sporting front, the good news is the promotion of the interclub A team to the first departmental division.
The organization of the 11th eco-feather tournament will obviously be included in the calendar on March 22 and 23. The training sessions led by Angelo Do for children will take place every Wednesday, those for adults will take place with Damien Loubiat.
Sessions specific to interclub teams could be set up on Sunday mornings once a month. The aim is to improve team cohesion and try to do well in interclub competitions.
As for the management team, the board of directors will meet soon to elect the new office.
