Rui Marques, who previously held this role for more than a decade, returns to GXO Spain and Portugal after leading the company’s operations in France. He rejoins Iberia to lead a team of more than 8,500 employees and the largest logistics footprint in Spain, with more than 1.5 million square meters. Marques will lead the creation of high-performance teams, sales growth, investment in technology and operational excellence.
Over the past year, as Managing Director of GXO France, Marques has been instrumental in growing the business and is now returning to Spain and Portugal to drive GXO’s expansion in Iberia, with a particular focus on customer satisfaction through innovation, the acquisition of new customers thanks to the continued demand for logistics outsourcing and the expansion of GXO’s portfolio of value-added services to strengthen GXO’s leadership position in e-commerce, where it is already the leading company in Iberia.
