Last weekend, archer Sandra Bastián from Segovia was crowned Spanish archery champion with the Valladolid club Arco Club alongside her teammate Pablo Bustos in the mixed recurve bow team competition. Both had a great qualifying performance that allowed them to reach the final where they defeated the Madrid club Pozuelo to finally win the title.
Strong winds hampered the final phase held in Valencia this past weekend, while the three previous phases took place in Cáceres, Madrid and Valladolid. David Bastián also participated in the national event and achieved a creditable fourth place with the compound bow team.
