Santos FC signs Brazilian goalkeeper Stefane in search of brighter days in women’s football

Still dreaming of a light at the end of the tunnel in the Brasileirão Feminino and in the Paulistão, Santos sought reinforcement in college football in the United States. Goalkeeper Stefane agreed to return to Brazil, after three seasons, and signed with Sereias da Vila for the next season.

Having played for the youth teams in the U-17 and U-20 World Cups, Stefane began her career in Brazilian football and has played for Vitória das Tabocas, Flamengo, Internacional, Iranduba, 3B da Amazônia and Real Brasília.

In 2021, the Brazilian goalkeeper landed in college football in the United States and, in three years, defended the goal of Monroe, Ann Arbor and NSU, until being repatriated by Santos. The 25-year-old player signed a contract until December 2025.
