Sarah Dumont Breaks Belgian Record, Crowned European Vice-Champion in Lithuania for 400-Meter Medley

Sarah Dumont has been crowned European vice-champion in Lithuania in the 400-meter medley. The 17-year-old swimmer clocked another Belgian record (4’42″44).

In May, Sarah Dumont broke the 24-year-old record of Yseult Gervy. At the Mare Nostrum competition in Barcelona, ​​she completed the 400-meter medley (butterfly, back, breast and free) in 4’45″35.

At the European Junior Championships in the Lithuanian capital, Dumont went 3 seconds faster. She swam to silver in 4’42″44.

In the final standings, Dumont was only beaten by Hungarian swimmer Vivien Jackl. She won with a championship record: 4’39″28.
