Sébastien Tillous-Borde appointed coach of Montauban in Pro D2

Sébastien Tillous-Borde will coach Montauban. Appointed this Monday, the former international scrum-half (39 years old, 19 caps) will be accompanied by Johan Snyman in charge of the forwards, Andries Hough in charge of the three-quarters and Cameron Ruiz, physical trainer. After a playing career that took him from Biarritz to Castres then to Toulon, where he won three European Cups and a Brennus, the Béarnais retrained as a coach, first in charge of the RCT back lines before managing Bourgoin, then Rouen last season.

With Rouen, he failed to stay in Pro D2. 15th in the last Championship, Montauban, which therefore finished just ahead of the Norman club, retained its place in Pro D2 by narrowly winning 20 to 19 against Narbonne, during a play-off match.
