The breaks, no Christmas break
In addition to the single midweek round (confirmed as in 2023/24), the championship will only be interrupted for the 4 FIFA windows (8 September, 13 October, 17 November, 23 March) to make room for the national teams. There will be no break during the Christmas period: will be played on the weekends of December 22 and 29 and January 5. Among other dates, Lega Serie A has also made official the date of the 2024/25 Coppa Italia, which will officially start on August 4 with the preliminary round, while the final is scheduled for May 14, 2025.

Matches from Friday to Monday
The time slots for the races are changing, as each day will have 9 different windows from Friday to Monday. In the first two days the matches will be played from Saturday to Monday with kick-off at 18.30 and 20.45, while the other novelty is that they will be the last two days were played at the same time (last year it was only the last) among the clubs competing for the same objectives.

Asymmetrical calendar
Also next year the calendar will be asymmetricalwith the sequence of matches in the first half of the season different from that of the second half of the season, with a minimum of 8 matchdays between matches against the same opponent.
