Lega Serie A is ready to reveal the calendar for the 2024/25 season. Tomorrow, in fact, the presentation of the calendars for the next championship will take place, which will start on Saturday 17 August and will end on 25 May 2025. In particular, the League has revealed the criteria for compiling the calendars, starting with the absolute alternation of home and away matches for Inter-Milan, Lazio-Roma, Empoli-Fiorentina and Juventus-Torino. The asymmetric calendar has been confirmed, with the sequence of matches in the first half of the season being different to that of the matches in the second half of the season, with a minimum of 8 days of distance between the first and second leg matches against the same opponent. As for the derbies, they will all be scheduled in matchdays and cannot be played on the first and last matchday as well as on the tenth matchday, in which the only midweek round of the season will be played. Furthermore, the clubs participating in the Champions League will not meet the clubs participating in the Europa League and the Conference League on the 5th, 6th, 22nd, 25th, 28th, 32nd and 35th matchdays between two rounds of “back to back” UEFA Competitions. As for the dates, in addition to the single midweek round, the championship will only be interrupted for the 4 FIFA windows (8 September, 13 October, 17 November, 23 March) and during the Christmas period it will be played on the weekends of 22 December, 29 December and 5 January.
