Simone Biles and Chicago Bears Player Jonathan Owens to Compete in 2024 Paris Olympics Together

Gymnast Simone Biles is married to Chicago Bears NFL player Jonathan Owens. since last year and now they will be together at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In an interview with USA TODAY, the multi-Olympic medalist revealed that the Bears will give her husband permission to miss training camp so he can support her at the Olympics.

“The Bears are giving her a couple of days off from training camp, so she’ll be there, yes,” the four-time Olympic champion said. “Just for a short time.”

Biles will begin her participation on July 28 with the qualifying rounds of the team events and will culminate on August 1 with the all-around. With that in mind, the Chicago safety will miss the Hall of Fame game in which the Bears will face the Houston Texas, one of her former teams.

The athletes have been a couple since 2020 thanks to an online dating platform, but were unable to meet in Tokyo for the 2020 summer Games postponed to 2021. The two are living together during the NFL offseason in Spring, Texas, so that Biles can train at the World Champions Center.

Bears’ expectations for Jonathan Owens

Owens came to Chicago as a free agent, signing a two-year deal worth $4.75 million in March of this year after spending last season with the Green Bay Packers.
