Spaniards dominate

On Tuesday, UEFA announced the team for the 2024 European Championship. Jamal Musiala, a German international, made it into the team that was nominated by well-known European coaches such as Fabio Capello, David Moyes, Rafael Benítez, Frank de Boer and Ole Gunnar Solskjær. Title holders Spain have a total of six professionals, while finalists England and the DFB team have only one. Bayern professional Musiala is the most valuable player along with Manchester City’s Rodri.
Overall, the UEFA EURO 2024 team has a total value of 671 million euros. The goal is guarded by Frenchman Mike Maignan, who leads the tournament’s clean sheet rankings and has kept four clean sheets in six appearances. In front of him, compatriot William Saliba defends in the center together with Swiss Manuel Akanji, while Marc Cucurella and Kyle Walker occupy the defensive flanks. The midfield trio is again Spanish in character with Rodri, Fabián Ruíz and Dani Olmo. In the 4-3-3 system of the UEFA jury, shooting stars Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal occupy the wing positions, while Musiala is a striker in the middle.
