The season is going to start strong for the SQBB. Indeed, the LNB has published the calendar for the 2024-2025 Betclic Elite season. Julien Mahé’s players will host the reigning champion, Monaco, on the first day.As a reminder, the Monegasques fell at Pierre-Ratte last season.
The 2nd day will take the Saint-Quentin team to Le Mans for a spectacular start to the championship. Among the other big home games of the season, we will note the reception of ASVEL on October 26 or of Paris, November 9.
The regular season runs from September 20, 2024 to May 17, 2025. It is in Limoges that the Axonais will play their last championship match. At the end of this match, the teams ranked from 1 to 6 are qualified for the Betclic Elite playoffs. Those ranked 7 to 10 are qualified for the Play-in.
THE COMPLETE CALENDAR
At the bottom of the table, the team ranked 15th will be included in the Pro B promotion playoffs. As for the 16th, it will be automatically relegated to Pro B for the 2025-2026 season.
What is the Play-in tournament?
The Play-in (teams ranked 7th to 10th in the regular season) is a 4-team tournament that qualifies two teams for the playoffs. It will take place on May 20 and 23, 2025. All matches are played in a “dry” match at the highest ranked team of the regular season.
The two “winners” of this tournament will join the top 6 in the championship to compete in the playoffs from May 26 to June 24, 2025.
The Leaders Cup is also on the program for the 2024-2025 financial year, from February 14 to 16. It will pit the top 8 teams against each other at the end of the 15th day of the elite championship.
