After a one-year stint with the Warriors, Chris Paul will discover a new franchise. The point guard has signed with the Spurs, where he should form a high-flying duo with Victor Wembanyama, but also with Gregg Popovich. However, Stephen A. Smith has some reservations.
The first games of the 2024/2025 season are going to be weird for many fans with all these major transfers and surprising signings. I have mixed feelings about Chris Paul coming to the Spurs. On one hand, he’s going to be playing with the future of the league in Victor Wembanyama. San Antonio is a team with talent, but talent that doesn’t know how to play yet. They have a lot to learn, and when they do, they’re going to be terrifying. Victor Wembanyama is one of those guys.
