Success at Belt Exams and Selections for World Ju Jitsu Championships

After the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the company, on Saturday 29th June, at the end of the Judo and Ju Jitsu courses, the exams for the belt grades were held, which saw about ten candidates “in the ring”, examined by instructors qualified by the Federation: Maria Cristina Giannotta; Paolo Brusati; Giuseppe Di Chio and Mauro Aliprandi.

The promoted

Here are those who participated and were promoted with yellow and orange belts in their respective disciplines: Marco Cagliero; Meredith Caria; Khanh Chi Cattaneo; Giacomo Zilioli; Elena and Veronica Guerrieri; Alessandro Micaglio, Ettore Pasquini and Riccardo Patrucchi.

Entry to the World Ju Jitsu Championships

An important piece of news is that, among those promoted, three members of the association will go to the selections (with direct elimination) to enter the National team that will participate in the World Ju Jitsu Championships, which will take place in Crete from October 23rd to November 8th.

Selection dates

The selections will take place on July 16, 17 and 18 at the Federation headquarters in Ostia Lido; Three are the Novaresi who will participate: Giuseppe Di Chio; Aaron Barbaglia and Maya Navoni.
The senior Eleonora Coppa, who after being 1st in the National ranking of 2021/2022/2023, will not be able to take part due to injury; a cold shower for her.
