Success at the 5th Grand Prix Modena Badminton Tournament: Young Athletes Shine in Sustainable Event

Last weekend, the 5th Grand Prix Modena Badminton powered by Young “sustainable event” tournament took place at the PalaPanini. The event, now in its fifth edition, saw the participation of over 257 athletes and para-athletes from all the Italian regions. On a sporting level, it is worth highlighting the performance of the young Vignola native Massimo Grotti, representative of Modena Badminton and athlete of the youth national team, who for the first time managed to win the home tournament in the Under 19 Men’s Singles category with a clean run, without ever losing a set. Also worth highlighting are the performances of other representatives of the Modena association Filippo Tarabusi, and Sirena Camila who reached the quarter-finals and Ronchetti Marcello who stopped in the eighth-finals; first medals instead for the very young players of the Emilian team Princess Catherine Anonuevo and Jillian Rabang, respectively in the Under 13 and Under 11 categories. Also of particular note was the participation of the player Rosa di Marco, who easily prevailed over her opponents.
