After 4 weeks of lots of football and futsal, the 3rd edition of the Summer Football School ends today, July 26th. The initiative organized by AF Castelo Branco, had 5 weekly sessions, from Monday to Friday, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, at the Afonso de Paiva School Field.
According to the AFCB, the event’s objectives were fully met, which included “fostering a taste for the sports and motivating participants to increase the amount of time they spend playing football and futsal”, according to the information note sent to the RCB.
The sports project in question, “is increasingly consolidated, which delights the youngest and which has attracted, year after year, more interested parties”, concluded the letter.
The last session will take place this Friday, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Manuel Candeias (in the photo), president of the board of AF Castelo Branco, visited the young people last Wednesday, July 24th.
